Disadvantage going to UWS? or not?

University prestige is about a high opinion of the institution due to its previous success. Thus, by the very definition of prestige it is obvious it is something that has to be developed over time. This can be illustrated by looking at the history of most, if not all, Sydney universities. UTS...

Your Dad is driving Bill Clinton around? Well, you dont have many options unfortunately. is it so important you go with your friend? Tell her your situation and that you'll make it up to her some other way.

Disadvantage going to UWS? or not?

It is the only uni to offer Criminology and Law. It's location is optimal. I was offered a scholarship. UWS is the university which will best meet my interests, location and current circumstances - on the surface it would appear an easy decision. The only factor which made me question UWS...

Is it on orientation that we get info on the various clubs/associations we can join?

    Orientation

Assuming there will be shuttle buses running, I'd have to leave about an hour early though.. Yeah, I'd prefer to go to the Law one if I had to choose one.

    Orientation

The Social Science orientation at Penrith goes from 10 - 12 and Law at Parra is on the same day from 12 - 1:30. Is orientation structured in a way that makes it important to be on time? Getting from the Penrith Campus to Parra Campus is going to take much longer than 0 minutes (especially using...

Disadvantage going to UWS? or not?

LaraB and I both got 98+, so to argue that we "wouldn't have considered the place" is far from accurate.

    units?

You would be doing both every week. Check on the UWS website for the lecture/tutorial times.

When do we have to select our subjects and how do we get our timetable

lol - okay, I'll be sure not to complain (at least publicly :p). I just hope it won't become too much per day. What are the chances of not getting the seminars/tutes you want - or is it impossible to say?

When do we have to select our subjects and how do we get our timetable

Actually, I think it will be best to keep it at 2 days. If i want to spread it out, it has to be over 4 days and the only change would be that I do torts on Tuesdays and Fridays rather than on Mondays and Thursdays with the rest of my units. So really, it'd just mean I'm going to uni 2 extra...

I cant decide whether to cram my timetable into 2 days, or spread it over 3-4. Any advice?

    Tute after Lecture

Would you recommend having a tutorial straight after the lecture (no break) or wait a day?

    Jobs after uni

Do they have similar expos for non-business students?

Disadvantage going to UWS? or not?

Practical, flexible, vocational... I wouldn't say UWS has nothing to build on.
