    Regret doing Standard?

Well I had considered dropping to standard ALOT in prelim. I remember always saying that I will but never did. I'm so glad I kept it now 'cos I do believe it's more interesting and I also have to work a bit harder which is quite motivating at times. IMO do advanced either way, but if you really...

    School Photos: Class of 2008

Mine was also today. My school probably has to be the worst. We had no muck-ups plus they were so strict with our uniform. No ties (which are actually school uniform), button nearly all the way up, hair and whatnot. Eh .. seriously.

HSC Plus: Free HSC Workshops from Alpha-Omega Education

Oh I went to this just yesterday. I found the sessions pretty good but they were a bit rushed and whatnot. Lol. Brian Shadwick just cracked me up. Anyways, I have a friend who goes to the Aurburn centre and she says that its good. I asked her about the prices and she said she'd get back to me on...

does ANYBODY enjoy their text for english?

lol I have no idea why, but all the texts that people mention, I have never seen or done in class. Well besides R&G. I've heard so many people mention the texts but why don't I do them ? lol Anyways I guess I enjoy the texts I do at times. Well before analysis and the such have to occur. I...

Does your subject impact on your UAI results?

That's where SAM comes in. It will give you a pretty close estimate of your UAI from your Standard/Advanced marks. I went through the exact same thing. I say talk to your teacher and see what their opinion is. But I made up my mind and decided to work through advanced. I say stick with it...

Anyone want to form a study group?

This sounds like a good idea. I'm interested !! ^^ I can probably help with some chem, 2u and 3u maths, some engineering and IPT. But I'm probably not up to all your standards .. my school sucks. It's not in the top 200 and has NO CHANCE whatsoever of being there. fairfield high ftw !

How useful is it in uni?

would you happen to have these ? lol I need some notes for engineering and it's quite hard to get good notes for this subject. ^^"

How useful is it in uni?

I say go for it ! We need more girls in the engineering industry. Plus if your school doesn't offer it, apply for the subject through Open High. This ultimately means that you will have to do the subject by correspondence, meaning you work on your own in a sense. They send you packages and...

How much do you like your subjects?

    IPT - 8 Engineering - 7 English Adv. - 2 Maths - 8 Chem - 9 Physics - 7 Meh. If I was to drop english, I think I would literally love going to school everyday.

    Confused?

Well my problem is that I'm doing my HSC this year and still haven't worked out my subject selections. Yes, it's VERY late but I just couldn't decide what to drop. At the moment I do 13 units. Physics is one of the subjects I might drop. I don't know why, I rank pretty well, kinda in the top...

    More Integration =/.

    Q8. note: int. = integral sign. well you have the two curves and intercepts. @ 0 & 1. int. (with 1 on top and 0 on bottom) x^1/2 - x^2 dx = [ 2/3 x^3/2 - 1/3 x^3 ](1 on top, 0 on bottom) sub in 1 and 0. and you get .. = (2/3 - 1/3) - 0 = 1/3 u^2

    Adfa

note: is the adfa different from the private sector ? because what I kind of remember is that you have to do all the training and stuff alongside studying your courses and all but like within the private sector they require certain jobs and the such so like you could become a doctor and work...
