Remembered my latest ranks. Need ATAR Estimate. Thanks.

are you joking or what? how can you go from 99.7 to 88 unless you miss an essay or something lol

Remembered my latest ranks. Need ATAR Estimate. Thanks.

getting back to the estimate. i seriously doubt you'll get in the 50s unless you fuck up externals. The median atar in the state is usually around 69-70. People forget that all the time you can get band THREE in all you subjects and come out with easily 70+ If you get band TWO in every subject...

    General Thoughts: Economics

    It is definitely seasonal.

    Section II - Short Answer

Wrong thread but okay: Headline is everything, so the average of ALL prices has fallen from 3% to 2% growth Underlying removes volatile components, like oil, and this figure is 3%. So, if you remove the volatile stuff the inflation rate is higher. That means, that the volatile stuff is...

    General Thoughts: Economics

sweet i think i did that a bit. my school must mark hard or something. wrote 6 pages (1200 words) each in trials of good, stat filled stuff with some alright insight and got 16 and 15. I might buy my raw marks depending on costs, see if that's a correct assumption.

    General Thoughts: Economics

    probably 95+

    General Thoughts: Economics

What do you mean by insight? Like showing relationships between stuff like nairu and graphs or something more?

    General Thoughts: Economics

sweeet, mine was pretty coherent and full of relevant stats. both coulda been a little better i guess. So hopefully 17 each which would be made. Could get 90 raw :O

    General Thoughts: Economics

    at a guess, 1000ish each.

    General Thoughts: Economics

How much do you guys reckon you have to write in order to get 16+ in the essays. I wrote 5 each, with tonnes of stats, moderate sized handwriting. Enough? Coulda and shoulda written a little more, especially for the unemployment one but whatevs. Mid to high 80's i'm hoping. Is that enough to get...

    General Thoughts: Economics

mate you're wrong. i put B as well. but it's D, deadset. If there's a $10 tariff then foreign producers have 0 advantage, don't come here and gvmt gets no revenue. Just calculate the area under the curves to find the exact monterary value of the gvmt revenue.

    Section I - Multiple Choice

But the question is asking whether you know the diff between underlying and headline. Headline = everything, underlying = excludes volatile stuff. And oil prices are most volatile (and still a large component) so it's more likely to be D. Can someone upload the paper? I threw mine away and now...

How much will not finishing my essay reduce my mark by?

you'd go from a 16 (if that's what you would have gotten normally) to maybe a 13. Shouldn't be too bad, a lot of the time contractionary is assumed as it's just the opposite. How many pages? and writing size

    General Thoughts: Mathematics Extension 1

    54/70 = 92 scaled....right? :S
