This is not scaling guys, it's aligning. Getting 80-90% in multi choice and short answers is piss easy compared to getting 18+ in English essays. Also, a 90 in eco is worth a lot more than 90 in business studies

this year was EASY? personally i was able to tackle the mod B nicely, but everyone else got smashed by it and Mod A wasn't too easy for me and others. Creative was a little challenging, AoS was a little challenging and so was section 1. Would have thought it'd be like 1 maybe 2 marks lower...

Oh no, i got a raw mark of well below 50% in something that is 1/5th of my HSC and only got 95 ATAR :( :( lyf over. guess i have to settle for usyd/unsw comm.

chuck it in an atar calculator, varies by course. for my courses, putting 79 (band 4) for english and then 90 for every other subject gives at atar of 95+ so it's definitely possible.

write the whole thing, jeez. how many times do you write blade runner in an exam? twice? it'll save you like 5seconds, you'd be better off opening the exam quicker than normal.

Our guy was heaps chill, he said they wanna get extra writing booklets to us in 20seconds at the start. We had him for SC too, and as the last year to do it, he was subtly mocking its relevance and importance haha. funny guy.
