I think you should watch this week first. It's a good first ep. Next week's ep, well it's not my favourite but it some really really good Jack scenes. There are some crap eps. But I think this first one is really good.

I was slightly disappointed in Combat. Very little Lois. Lois with nothing to do. And what was up with Clark? Maybe I needed to watch Promise to get into Clark's headspace. The tail end of the season looks to be really good for Lois, charcter wise.

Smallville has never been good with sticking to comic canon. Possibly because the creators, Al Gough and Miles Millar (one of them or both, I forget) aren't really comic book fans. Although they would know the basics, they know the main players and stuff but other than that it deviates so far...

Ep 6x03 Wither tonight. With the gorgeous Justin Hartley guest starring. It's not about plant girl. It's more about the relationships between the other characters. Plant girl is just there for the sake of it. No real importance really. Next week is 6x04 Arrow, which is a really really good ep.
