Yeah i used campbell, reece and meyer Australian edition also knox ladgies evans and saint. I didnt do that well though.

I had my 3u test yesterday, i had 2 q's on induction.

James Ruse started preparing in Feburary they had lessons scheduled just for the olympiads one per week. The people who get in are usually freaks who can remember all the concepts in the uni textbooks.

I was going to do it, but i choose history extension instead.

They also looked at the number of hours you have done in each course. Their is a minumum like 100 or 120 hours or something to pass a course i think its best that you talk to your school deputy or principal.

Re: Olympiads Yes i mean the camp, the top 21-23(depending on staff and tutor numbers) students are invited to go to the camp. There is no set cut-off mark for the olympiads they just take the top 20 or so candidates.

Holiday courses & tuition, revise maths, chem and bio and make notes on 1st module for Bio and Chem. Planning my History Extention and 4unit English Project, etc.

Re: Olympiads What the hell are you talking about cutoff's their are no cutoff marks, the top 23 students of each ASO NQE are invited to go to Canberra.

Was busy all day going aroung selling SRC disco tickets sold like 70-80 more during lunch alone and the Disco's tonight!!! Currently yr 11's are having a competition with yr 12, which grade gets the most people to the disco gets the profits for their formals, etc.

My exams start in two weeks and are spaced over two weeks and i get 5 days off :) Good luck everyone!!!

Re: Olympiads Hey welcome to BOS, did you notice the error in Q46? It says it had shaded parts in the question for the diagram. Do u go to a Victorian or Canberran school? Do you know what mathematical methods is equivalent to in the HSC

They use fitzpatrick for maths, see if you can borrow one to study, i also recommend that you buy yr 11-3U cambridge mathematics(it covers 2unit) or coroneos 3unit simplified (thick pink book) which covers the yr 11 course.
