Hi, Can anyone please help me with this question. For (a) I get A = pi*r^2 + pi(k - r)^2 For (b) I get A'=2pi * (2r-k) Therefore r= k/2 After that I know I am supposed to test either using the table or double differentiation but I seem to get stuck. Thanks

Ok anyway I figured out that this wasn't supposed to included in the schools past paper. Wasted a solid 30 mins over that lol.To solve it you need use logs as shown above. Again thanks for the help.

Thanks for the reply. Are you sure it is invalid? I mean sure the hypothesis is incorrect, but all that means is that the hypothesis is incorrect and needs to be changed. All the procedures that were carried seem scientifically valid and it has also addressed the aim. Still open for other opinions.

Hi, I have a question regarding the validity of the Michelson-Morley experiment. I understand the accuracy and reliability bits, but I am not sure what actually makes the experiment 'valid'. I guess it addresses the aim but that sounds pretty weak to me. Thanks

Depends on what printer you have and what cartridges you use (ie OEM or compatible). I'm assuming your going to need to print a lot of pages per 'session', so for those I'd suggest you print atUni and it saves you alot of time.
