Well the thing is most of us doing STAT170/171 need that unit as pre-requisites for later units. And PSY 122 won't count for that unfortunately. But I enjoyed STAT170 it was very interesting.

Minitab is easy to use... They give you clear instructions on what to do.

What don't you like about it?

It depends, one of my units initially didn't have iLecture but the unit convener decided to start using after the first week.

Nah they won't be marked. They were never marked when I did them.

Well I did it sem2 of last year, and they told us that the unit would different from that semester onwards so I guess they improved it for the better.

I liked STAT170, good subject.

Well in my lectures (2 of them) the lecturer gets us to mark our name down, so they can check if we've been attending if someone wants to appeal their grade (say they get a 49 or something)

You try and find it in the library. But overall, it's not necessary. If you're really curious though try textbookexchange.com.au (it MIGHT be there).

This x1000. I did practice questions nearly every day of the week so when it came to the final exam, I had no trouble. If you put the effort in you will be fine :)

I personally did not feel like the textbook was necessary, I always had it with me during tutes but I never used it... I went into the final exam with a distinction average.
