General Thoughts: English Paper 1 (AOS)

I thought that it could have been a whole lot worse

    Section 2 - Creative Writing

I used the 2nd quote, this is usually my strongest section and i think i did well, although it took a while for me to start

    Section 3 - Extended Response

I thought it worked well with As You Like It
  4. Woteva636

    Section 1 - Stimulus

I thought i could have been worse, as has been said its a flimsy topic. This is traditionally my worst section, but i dont think i went too bad. Definatley better than the independant or Catholic association trials!

Chains of Command, by Dale Brown Brilliant author, would (and do) highly recommend him to anyone, especially those interested in books about the military and conflicts etc.

Should conscription be re-introduced in 21st Century Australia?

i can see the benefits of having conscription these days, or at least compulsory military training after high school, heaps of ppl take a gap year anyway. the military exisists to protect Australia and our allies in the event of a conflict in any part of the world, but they aren't going to send...

Most Embarrasing Artist On Your Ipod

What the hell??? thats a sweet song!!! but, i reckon that the best music comes straight from the 60s, 70s and 80s. preferably rock from those years. i don't intentionally have any embarassing artists on my mp3 (not an ipod- hey, it was a christmas present...) although some stuff did sneak on...

    Michael Jackson Dead

yeah, i guess there's no doubt he'll always be a legend of the music industry, i mean, hell, thriller was the number 1 selling album of ALL TIME before he died, and heaps of ppl will be going out to buy it now that he's dead, so i daresay it'll be number 1 for a good many years to come. it's a...

    Would u still do English

I can see the point of having english as compulsory (ie so that ppl can't get into uni and still not be able to read or write in english) but i reckon there should be a course that if you don't want to do it, and that if you have enough of a knowledge of english (say, year 10 level) then you can...

    NSW Speed limiters in cars

i guess that it wont really mater what the public says, any protests will get lost in the bureaucracy we call government, they're pretty good at that. that said, i dont reckon itll go ahead, they make to much money from speeding fines, and anyway, they're about to raise the demerit points for P...

French President Sarkozy says burqas are 'not welcome' in France

by banning burqas he's pretty much sayin "muslims you are not welcome" there'll probably be uproar from the muslim communities, but whether it makes the news is anyone's guess

    year 12 jerseys

most people at my school just got their name or surname, coz if we wanted anything else we had to get the ok from the principal 1st, it sucked but at least everyone got something decent ie no embarasment for the school if someone else sees them.

    extension 2 math

If youre not prepared to put in the effort theres no point at all in doing ext2, unless you want to fail it so you can drag the other guy's mark down a bit
