New Kingdom Egypt till the death of Amenhotep III - Missing

I used the Pamela Bradley- Ancient Egypt book, it was very comprehensive (although a weighty book to cart back and from class!)

    Nero's Downfall

Nero's downfall, in my opinion, came about due to his neglect of the Power groups in Rome, and also his inability to maintain the proper characteristics of the Imperator. The Power Groups were: The army, the Praetorian Guard, the masses and the Senate. He decided not to pay the army (which...

    Tiberius help

Tibby is one of my favourites :). It depends what you necessarily want to know, so PM me for more details. But a basic run down: He was the fourth choice I think, and was reluctant to hold the position of Princeps, and refused many of the titles that Augustus had (such as Pater Patriae or...

    Help Julio Claudians

Julio-Claudians development and organisation of the empire: For this, you have to know what it was like before hand (during the principate of Augustus) and what it ended up as (By the time of Nero's death). Look specifically at: The frontiers, Rhineland etc. How did each of them set about...

    Belonging Speech: Texts?

What was your question, exactly, or is it just a speech? I like the idea, although it is important to also use your techniques (weave these in to your more S&C stuff). I was thinking about the last line of your intoduction... I think that we are reverting AWAY from a typical type of belonging...

What do we need to bring for Enrolment????

Ooh ok damn, cos I already cut mine off and now I have no idea where I put the rest of the letter! I don't think it will matter though, because the rest of it is for our records or something? And the bottom part is the actual bit with the barcode on :S. *stumped*

    Teacher/Student relationship......

At my primary our school priest turned out to be a pedo. My mum has never been to Church since whereas she used to be a regular attender. Can't say I blame her.

Can anyone do me a favour

Modern history scales better than Ancient, but I ended up doing a lot better in Ancient. Trust what you're good at, rather than what you think will scale you. I dropped maths and kept DRAMA (of all the shitty scalers) because I just didn't like it, it stressed me out and took time from other...

    Uai 98+

Don't stress :) My subject choices- Drama, Modern history, Ancient history, eng adv, eng ext1, religion 1U... and I still managed to get a 96.2 Everything is achievable. It is NOT about the subject, it is about working your strengths, and working hard. Good Luck :) xo

Can anyone do me a favour

It is more about how you work, and your OWN marks than scaling as to your final results. Apparently, although open to debate, poorer scaling subjects include: Drama, Visual Arts... and possibly Ancient History (although I don't think it scales badly myself, someone said it did and I ended up...

Advice for Yr 11 student starting Advanced English

I got mid nineties as well, cant remember the exact mark tbh! Short stories are easier to manipulate to suit a question, as you can fit them abstractly to the stipulated material. If it is a picture then you can incorporate it in much more easily than if it was an entirely different question. I...

    diet

Don't kill yourself exercising. Best way to drop weight fast, is to eat high-metabolic foods. And add in a LOT of fibre to your foods. Btw, apparently drinking energy drinks also boosts your metabolism. Or, just go vegan. All your problems solved :D
