haha- i just checked mine IF i get into pharmacy, i will enrol at 10.30am- 12pm on Wednesday 28th so does each letter get a different time- my last name starts with W, so does that mean that alll the other letters are on the day & time before me?

so we have to pick junior year units, but not senior year. what about intermediate years, do they have to be picked as well? also, do u pick ur units on enrolment day, or at another time?

it doesnt matter. as long as u got over 150, it doesnt matter what score u get. a score over 150 just means that u are eligible for the course. u are then ranked by uai

i am also thinking of alternate pathways into pharmacy. would i be better off doin Bscience instead of Bmedsci because it is easier to do better? or would Bmedsci be better coz its more suited to pharmacy?

i dunno, but there was a serious australian deficit in this pharmacy lecture, but im not used to it so it is all pretty strange 2 me lol so r u goin 2 csu?

i know... i dont mean to offend either, but i felt seriously outnumbered. I come from an area where there is practically no asians. There was only like 3 asians in my entire school, so sydney's multiculturalism is a real change for me!! oh, and i went to the 11.30 one

even if u dont get into pharmacy straight away, u can always try to transfer after a year. as long as u try ur hardest, u will be able to do pharmacy in one form or another (maybe even master of pharmacy course). plus u will definitely get into csu if its ur first pref

i dont think u need to be from rural area for PREP. it was just an early entry scheme where you had to have school/the principal's endorsement, write a personal statement & attach school reports to prove that you could succeed at uni.

yeah thats what it is. I applied for rural disadvantage too- yep it stands for educational access scheme :)

broadway scheme is usyd version of eas. It is for different things that have affected your senior study, such as financial disadvantage, deaths in the immediate family and it includes some disability or illness. It can allow u to get like bonus points, that can push your selection rank...

it is possible for transfer and at the usyd pharm lectuire sum1 asked bout this. It is very competitive to transfer, and u may be given some credit for what u have done at CSU however csu & usyd teach certain subjects in a different order (ie different stuff in different years). The lecturer...

did u apply for broadway scheme or eas? coz i only got 92.65 but i applied for eas so i may get in (sorta like bonus points)

yeah, i was worried too, so i rang them today and they said it has been done automatically. But they double checked for me anyway and it was attatched already :)

yeah, they dnt actually know coz the uni doesnt handle the offers- they just tell uac, for example, we have 200 places for the BPharmacy, and then uac ranks ppl, and makes offers

to ultimate supremo- unsw doesnt offer pharmacy, and u dnt hav 2 do umat to dp624- stat has to be above 150, and uai ranges- last year it was 93.15

I went to the 11am session, and yea someone asked about the cutoff. However the lady said that the uni thinks the cutoff will be around 93 however they dont really know because they dont know what offers uac has received :)
