Hey guys, If your doing the UMAT tomorrow, what kind of raw marks are you getting in the individual sections? I've heard the ACER practice ones are easier than the actual UMAT, is that true? Thanks

Right so it has to be velocity of y being zero?

When trying to find the maximum height of a projectile, do you let the velocity component of x or y equal zero? Is it both that equal zero as at the particular moment in question, the projectile is stationary? Any clarification appreciated : )

Maybe integrating with approx methods like trap rule and simpsons rule? not sure what is covered in the 4u part.

Haven't done 4u polys yet but things that stand out might be the approximation methods of roots, like newton's method and halving the interval

Don't forget your exam marks in school are raw, that is, subject to aligning by the NSWBOS. You should concentrate more on your rank, as that will be a better indicator of how 'well' you've done in an exam. 68% raw for 4u assuming your teachers set HSC-level exams isn't what I would...
