Hello,
I have an image from this site http://www.edvard-munch.com/Paintings/anxiety/despair_3.jpg .
The image if for a class assessment and I have trouble finding the techniques that portray belonging/not belonging.
If anyone knows techniques or even have any visual texts they have...
Thanks for that, it helped a bit.
Can we use motifs as a technique for this text? As Billy refers to his carriage as the place where he belongs/home.
Cool, "Freedom Writers" would be a great text since theres alot of barriers preventing belonging from the students/teacher.
Thanks for the help, forgot I had that movie lol. :o
Hello guys,
just wondering if theres any good movies out there that relates to "belonging".
I got an english assessment that I'm stuck with atm. :(
If theres any you guys recommend, post away !
Thanks heaps.
Re: The Arrival
Lol, yups I do standard english.
The Arrival was the first text we looked at for belonging since it was interesting. Then we had to analyse Peter Skrzneycki poems T_T.
Re: The Arrival
The Arrival is a very good example of belonging as it relates to others not just from one persons perspective.
My teacher said something about fear represented in the book very well by the use of dark tones etc.
I also have trouble finding related texts for this topic aswell.
But for this text "Welcome to my life", it might be a pain analysing as it looks a
bit to brief lol.
