hi,
from immigrant chronicle, which two poems would be the best to use in an essay?
I have an assessment coming up and I have to pick two poems.
so which two?
thanks
What assessments do you have that are coming up soon?
How are you going to study for it?
I have a 3U maths test coming up :(
Time for revenge :evilfire: because everyone beat me in the 2u test.
ROAR!!!!!!! :vcross:
I swear to god that I'm gonna do well in it!
What say you?
any of you going overseas after the hsc?
wait.. are you actually allowed to go overseas after the hsc? what about university applications and stuff because I heard that you have to go in person for enrollment?
anyway, who's going overseas?
I make many many silly mistakes in Maths when I work fast. During Year 11, I had around 1 hour left to check for my Half Yearly and Yearly but despite that, I still made 10+ silly mistakes.
I worked slow for my first common test in Year11 and as a consequence, I wasn't able to finish the exam...
which do you like better?
Personally, I liked Year 11 better because there was less stress, less Maths to do during the week, less homework and was more fun.
imo, I reckon I'll do bad in Year 12.
YOU?
What is the competition at your school like? healthy or unhealthy?
at my school, everyone is really competitive and it's getting to the point that it's really unhealthy. everyone is soooo evil
the workload is getting heavier. I only have 6 free periods a fortnight. Maths homework takes me 3 hours to do a night. After that, I only have two hours for other subjects. I don't have enough time to do anything! The difficulty of the Maths courses are also increasing. Yesterday, I spent...
Alright, I'm so confused.
For the parabola, x^2 = -4ay
one textbook said that the parametric equations are x = 2at, y = -at^2
however the jones and couchman textbook answers says that it is x = -2at, y = -at^2
both will give you the cartesian equation x^2 = -4ay, but only one works when u solve...
I'm dropping Chemistry and picking up History Extension + Maths Extension 2.
school rank: top 40-50
English Standard: 3/95
Mathematics: 2/120
Mathematics Extension 1: 2/90
Ancient history: 2/50
Economics: 5/40
Studies of Religion: 15/80
Chemistry: 52/70
Thank you.
So why did you choose Standard English?
With all the stuff going around that Standard English aligns down terribly, what made you do Standard English?
I had to choose Standard English because I did badly in my School certificate, and as a result, I was forced to pick it.
What subjects are you thinking of or have already chosen for Year 12?
Hands up! Who's picking up extensions? :)
I'm thinking of: English Advanced, Ancient History, Economics, Studies of Religion 1, Mathematics Extension 1, Mathematics Extension 2, History Extension.
12 units :mad1...
Year 12 is coming up in like two months. Are you ready? Excited? Nervous?
Personally, I am scared about it. I have started preparing for Year 12 by learning ahead for Maths. (and Maths only :rofl2:!)
The fact that everything from Year 12 onwards will count towards the ATAR makes me really...
