The left do like to criticise Howard, saying his 'gravitas' and 'man of conviction' tags are all fabrications of the political imagination. I disagree.

Before we are provided with more revenue, our government should learn to more efficiently use the money it already has. The waste and inefficiency is disgusting.

Henderson wrote a book many years ago called 'A Howard Government?'. Essentially, about the prospective make up of the government.
To suggest he is a 'laborite' is rubbish. He is one of the few objective, and fair minded commentators out there who will criticise all political persuasions.
As your age is 17, that would indicate that you were about 5 when the Howard Government was elected. You were about 11 when the GST was implemented.

Agree. Too often we misplace history for the sake of 'nationalism'. Our history should be more valued.
