Why does accelerating inflation only occur below the NAIRU? Or, in other words, why does a NAIRU exist in the first place because accelerating inflation can occur anywhere...
The logic here:
a) Lowering unemployment below NAIRU → accelerating inflation (correct)
If macro policy...
Hey,
worked this out before but it's stumbling me again.
Supply of $A = Demand for $A
∴ M + Y debits + K outflow = X + Y credits + K inflow
rearranging gives:
∴ M - X + Y debits - Y credits = K inflow - K outflow
∴ CAD = KAFA surplus
BUT while above is what the textbook says...
Hey,
Thought I had nailed economic growth but evidently not as well as I had wanted to. A few quick questions:
1. Economic growth is measured through changes in the level of GDP over time. GDP (or aggregate demand or national income) = C + I + G + (X - M), and then when we look at it...
Heyo,
Share a discovery paper, assignment, halfyearly etc. and get access to the ones everyone else has shared. Can be with or without responses, it's the questions that really matter though.
So you are keen to 'discover' some great resources then send an email to hscaosdiscovery@gmail.com...
Heyo,
2013 HSC #4:
Let's call theta X
sin(X) = 81/135
∴ X = sin-1 (81/135)
∴ X = 41o
even trying cosine...
cos(X) = 108/135
X = cos-1 (108/135)
X = 41o
So this is not any of the options for the multiple choice........ the closest is 37o, and that is what the marking...
Heyo,
So I have been a little bit confused with what the HSC wants in terms of financial strategies - this question isn't really as relevant to the other KBFs because there are really just generic strategies, where as in finance it is for specific things (liquidity, growth, solvency...). Here...
Heyo,
So AD = C + I + G + (X - M)
meaning aggregate demand = consumption + investment + government spending + (exports - imports)
BUT
with government spending, is it total government spending OR is it net government spending (taking into account taxes or something)?
Hey,
So I have pretty much spent the past day or so just thinking about english and the different approaches and stuff, and I'm not sure whether to memorise or not memorise.
I've seen the arguments to memorise - how good is your first draft really going to be, if an essay is generic then...
Hey,
So pretty much I aced my half yearlies with seen questions, but my downfall so far has been with unseen essays. I've been doing a lot of thinking and am going to do the quotes and techniques method (don't want to argue about it on this thread haha) but I was wondering if anyone who used...
Atar estimate please!
I've put my marks for the half yearly and my average so far including other assessments.
School rank: 180
Advanced English: 3 or 4/44 (87.5%, based on seen questions though). 5 band 6's last year.
General Maths: 1/52 (96.25% half yearly / 95% average). 20% got...
So this is kind of specific to maths right now however it applies to all subjects so I thought I'd post it here.
What order is it best to do past papers in? Especially with general maths because 2014 was the first year with the new syllabus it becomes quite difficult to work out what to do...
Heyo,
Half yearlies tomorrow for IPT and we got told that every single one of the questions will be directly taken from the 2010-2014 HSC exams sections 1 and 2 so pretty lucky about that! But I got stuck on question 8 of the 2013 HSC:
8. A new EFTPOS method of payment for purchases...
I have my half yearly exams next week, and I have a problem with my writing hand so I am getting a writer. But I am really worried that it is going to really be a big disadvantage in the exam, especially if they are asking me to spell heaps of words for the English exam tomorrow because I have a...
I have a stimulus based exam on topic 2 early next week and I was just wondering if anyone has any other papers or a bank of past HSC questions or trial questions etc. on topic 2? Or even if not where I can access all the trial papers from last year?
So, I am currently doing EBB and GGB for Mod A but the generic problem that I am having is with writing my essays. I see the question, work on the my thesis statements and introduction, but 4 hours later on the same essay I still haven't really delved into my first paragraph. Instead, I keep...
I know some people are for/against notes but I still like making them as they help me understang things and mean I don't have to refer back to the textbook.
Sometimes though, I find myself spending a ridiculous 10 minutes just to make notes for 1 page of the textbook...
Are there any...
So does anybody have any tips for answering BOP questions? I find it a bit harder than the other stuff because there are so many monotonous details and all sorts of different aspects to consider for each part of it.
Hey,
So I am trying to hit 6 hours of study a day on the weekend. And that doesn't include any tiny bits of break time - like when I do 50 minutes study 10mins off and repeat that a few times only the 50mins actually counts. Anyway, I was going for a high target like that this weekend and it...
