i think if youre in the + or -100 range its okay (excluding footnotes and graphics). my word count is at 7999 and my reflection statement is 1499. i lol'd at both.
just think about it like this- in about 4 months we'll be getting our results...if you dont like whatever average mark youre getting now, try and work out how youll feel if you get that as your final mark.
then do everything in your power to make sure you dont have to feel like that again...

You don't get bonus points- they don't really apply for a course as competitive as medicine, but our ATAR threshold is lowered to approx 93.5 and we have a lower UMAT threshold than someone who's non-western sydney.
