Structure is a mark winner . You could get a reasonable mark for an ordinary essay with a good structure

As a teacher I advise my students to realise it’s important to know that the HSC is designed so students don’t actually remember essays but analyse instantly. It is possible to remember some essays but the questions are designed towards analysis skills and spontaneous answers
