I definitely agree. The school you go to has an impact but that doesn't mean you can't still get an incredible atar result, no matter what school you go to :)
I think for my english speeches, the marks were equally divided between content and presentation so it's important to be aware of both.
Also, just to add, be aware not to rock back and forth on your feet or shift your weight from one leg to the other. And don't put your hand in your pocket...
That's good that your exams went well! I completely bombed in maths extension 1 and I know I made some silly mistakes in chem but other than that, not too bad. Haha I'm glad you got that question right :) I had to do shipwrecks for the option - I hate shipwrecks :\ But same, I'm just so relieved...
I did 12 units for the HSC and it was fine. I preferred having a back up subject for my atar but its up to the individual person how much workload they want to take on :)
I found typing out my notes better because you can easily edit them and add in diagrams, and later on once your more comfortable with the content you can easily cut back to the main points. But for revision, I would write out my notes just to help me retain the information.
haha I got the aspirin one wrong and only realised 2 seconds before they said pens down. Oh well, hopefully everything else was good :)
Anyone else thing the 6 marker on the battery/environmental impact/collaboration was a bit weird?
