Tbh, I think it doesn't really matter. Cuz Macquarie and uts are similar IMO. Unless it's the difference between Macquarie and unsw/usyd, or you went to uws or some random uni like acu, notre dame , southern cross and you got offered by uts. If it's me , I'll just stay in macq since I did 1...

It doesn't really matter . Both usyd and unsw are good. Unless you're comparing with uws, acu or some random bad uni then it makes a difference lolZ

Check your email again. I was nominated by my school and I got my email in the end of December a few days after ATAR was released.

Btw, did you apply the hardship grounds and accommodation one? Or did you only apply for Sydney scholars?

I know people who got straight rejection offer. The email says that they're "unsuccessful"

I got reserve as well lol. But I guess it's better than rejection? At least we still have a small slice of hope, which is better than rejection which is none
