Re: UNSW chit chat thread 2016
Wow mining coop program is pretty good. It all goes on during my holidays so my completion date and studies won't be affected.
Re: UNSW chit chat thread 2016
it's lonely being a mining engineer. There's around 50 students undertaking the program at UNSW. Oh well, at least the labour market won't be competitive.
Oh shit, they just released a new assignment. 5k word report due in 2 weeks ffs
Re: UNSW chit chat thread 2016
Damn, I should have been using Joe Wolfe's notes the whole time. They are vastly superior to Web's.
On another note, is anyone interested in forming a group aimed at answering 1131 physic quizzes? They are bound to get harder in the future and it would seem...
Re: UNSW chit chat thread 2016
I thought the class test for algebra would actually be hard. It turned out to be 20 minutes of elementary work.
Mining is gay. The syllabus is vague as fuck. No specific instructions on what you need to learn or read.

Lol, I am going to apply for this scholarship https://scholarships.online.unsw.edu.au/scholarship/sc_al_search_detail.display_scholarship_details?p_schedule_id=3017&p_scholarship_specific_id=973
Looking at the eligibility criteria, that's a free 12k for me.
Re: UNSW chit chat thread 2016
Damn, that F12 cafe rips people off so hard. They sell overpriced canteen food. Worst one was the tiny $12 lasagne valued around $3.
Re: UNSW chit chat thread 2016
Lol, I think almost everyone is stuck on that question. I asked a bunch of guys from North Sydney boys and they couldn't get it. One of them tried 45 degrees already.

Re: UNSW chit chat thread 2016
So, I've found good ways to make use of train time.
Best use is watching lectures. It's no different if you watch at home or on the train.
Then, it's followed by light reading if lectures aren't available.
It's too inefficient to perform other tasks on the train.
