I plan to do at least 2 hours of work each day these holidays- catching up/consolidating this terms work, and trying to cover as much as next term's content as possible. Oh and I'll finish my Belonging story and essay as well.

So just to clarify: At UNSW, in order to transfer into a Law degree internally, they only take into account your WAM (gathering from this thread around 80%) and they do not take your ATAR into account? But when transferring externally from another uni, they take your atar into consideration as...
Thanks. Yeah I highly doubt I'll be getting an atar high enough for law at USyd or UNSW, so what I'll probably do if I decide on law is do commerce or something at Macquarie, then transfer into Com/Law. Or I could try and transfer into USyd, although I'd imagine that's a lot more competitive.
Does it really matter where you got your degree when it comes to employment at a law firm? I've heard that in banking for example, your university is very important when trying to get into a top tier firm. So does the same apply for lawyers?
Just a quick question on transferring between courses, say you are a econ student and you want to transfer into commerce after 1 year. Would you go into the cohort that was starting commence the year you transferred, or into the cohort that was on their second year of commerce? Are there...
I use the stayfocussed extension for chrome. It lets me choose a list of 'blocked sites' and then a time allowed on those sites per day. I have a total of 30 minutes on Facebook YouTube email etc. You can also do the nuculear option which disables the blocked sites for a certain period of time...
