Based on last year, I know that A3's homework is shorter and their level 3 is A Class level 2 and some cross over for level 1. However, during the trial examination and hsc examination period, both A3 and A get the same homework. Quizzes in the A3 class are easier than the quizzes in A. I'm not...
HAHAHAHAH I didn't say they were an economically good choice, but they certainly do help. Plus it was hard to ask for help when my english teacher only allowed us to submit the essay once LOL
Re how you keep going on a tangent in short answers. It's great that you're aware it's happening cause now you can confront it head on! Every time you write a sentence, ask yourself how this is relevant to the question at hand. if it isn't, time to scrap it. If you're trying to read the sentence...
It's like what you said below, he teaches stuff outside and beyond the syllabus, which is why it's more suitable for class A students, who are typically, consistently able to think at a higher level (not that i'm saying other classes can't, but Dr Du does "promote" B class kids who he believes...
Re: Year 11 Mathematics 3 Unit Cambridge Question & Answer Thread
A) Differentiate it. Sub in P to find a f(x) equation. Sub in P's x value and find the y value (gradient). Using point-gradient formula, figure out the equation, and then the x and y intercepts
B) Use point line distance formula...
Make sure you've gotten the whole "writing essay" essence down before chucking in the fancy words. If you don't, you'll only end up with a convoluted essay that will ruin the argument you're attempting to convey. Also, try avoiding excessively long sentences. They only confuse the marker and...
You're kind of similar to me. I work best when I'm by myself and find it best to reconcile with any notes or textbooks I have, later on after class.
It's okay really. It's just prelims. Prelims is where you test the waters and find out what works best for you for HSC. You've barely started...
Set an alarm for your nap and keep it within a reasonable time. Or fix your sleeping pattern. Or drink coffee/tea or any form of caffeine to at least make it through the school day.
To sum up what the above said plus some of my own:
1. The lack of form of the colours vs the smooth form of girl's shoulder/head (there's a definitely a better way to describe it) - the inner turmoil of emotions that's characteristic in the construction of one's emotional identity vs the...
Sometimes part of the mark comes from drawing the straight dotted line as "working out" or showing the gradient (rise/run). So probably only use it to check your answer. HSC physics isn't designed to have background knowledge of calculus, so the marking criteria defs won't involve it
I haven't studied the AOS, identity but these are some film/literary techniques:
1. Montage at the very beginning - portrays the war-ridden experience he underwent, which could've influenced his perspective as an adult
2. Truncated sentences - usually creates sense of urgency, tension, etc
3...
I highly recommend keeping 4U. I reckon it's very rewarding. For me, the amount of time was worth it. When you completely understand the concept in all the 4U topics, you've gotten a major part down already. Plus, a section of 4U is harder 3U, and evidently, you understand the 3U course very...
Well seeing as you didn't include what english you're doing, i'll assume you're doing advanced english. The easiest way to know what ranks you'll require is to find out how many people got B6 in your school. Typically, this number doesn't vary too much unless the cohort for a subject...
Like what Nailgun said, treat each short answer Q as a tiny essay. Usually i treat it as 1 mark = 1 technique (unless the Q specifically states how many techniques to use). Make sure you link back to the Q. You can write the most amazing response, but it means naught if you don't link it back...
That's a similar issue that I used to have! My tutor said i had really flowery language, meaning the essay looked and sounded good, but when you really read into it, I didn't exactly provide in depth analysis lmao. But it seemed to work for a while as my marks were surprisingly good HAHAHA...
You're welcome! Here's the link for the next anwers: http://i.imgur.com/8CAEdur.jpg?1
Hopefully they're right. I haven't done maths harder than addition since HSC LOL
I feel like you have some deep seeded hatred towards Brain LOL
Definitely english should be the only subject undertaken at Brain. It's a waste of time and money for other subjects. I think a good alternative is Mcduff. The few people i knew who went there did really well in english throughout...
Brain is good as long as you end up with a good teacher (e.g. Chris, Leone - they definitely know their stuff). Although, I've heard from a friend that he regularly disappears from her class during her lessons due to other distractions, which really sucks.
You're allowed to send in English...
