I am a bit confused as to which is which. Am I right in saying that the content covered in '2 Unit Maths' is equivalent to 'Prelim Maths Extension 1' and '3 Unt Maths' is equivalent to 'HSC Maths extension 1'?

Can someone fill me in on the marking grade system of the HSC? I have heard of terms such as: 'Band 1 through to Band 7', 'state rank', 'E7 (from memory)?' been tossed around. I did not do HSC but am looking to become a future teacher, if someone could fill me in on this it would be helpful.

Curious to know if there are colleges for adults to learn Maths Extension 2 in Sydney? Didn't get the opportunity to do 'Extension 2 ' maths and would be happy to devote a year doing this maths at an institution.
