Re: Umat like I said somewhere in the thread, I know of girl who tops physics, chem and Engineering studies in my school and scored 0-20%. I am not even 1/2 as smart as she is and I scored in the 97th percentile. I don't think the UMAT, is necessarily a test of intelligence and I can assure you...

Re: Umat haha true that in away :)... she does 3unit though, but I don't know her marks, bcs I don't do 3 unit. I guess I just find it hard to accept that some one who scores incredible marks like her bombed out at the UMAT!

Re: = Fuckin firsts (Good god) if you work it out according to the BOS regulations (omitting the outlier) then it is (97 + 90)/2 = 93.5 , but since it rounds up 94 and then your final HSC Mark will be (94+97)/2 = 95.5 which rounds up to 96, and it doesn't seem to make much of a difference...

Re: = Fuckin firsts (Good god) the board of studies states that they average the two highest external marks. but I' pretty sure they are open to the fact there can be a gap between ( a massive one like in the 97/88-90 example) and that to me looks like an outlier..the only way to confirm this...
