extension english is certainly worth doing :)
the creative part can acctually be alot of fun.
also in the hsc they take your 2 best units of english... so if you do somehow mess up advanced.. you have a small safety net

just out of curiosity for math/mx1.. is it more useful doing ALOT of textbook questions or just doing a few and focusing on past papers?
darkcounty, i think thats the case with school based exams. you have to learn everything taught by your teacher. But in the case of the HSC examination itself, the questions come directly from syllabus dot points.

loool HSC physics - it just tends to be very mathsy in the sense that applying formulas to a given situatuon is a big part of it.
