Macquarie are highly regarded when it comes to their Commerce/Eco department, so you should be fine. Most people rate it as second behind UNSW for that area, so you should be fine.
I've heard from my teacher that it's the opposite in some cases. He said a person he knew went better than the rest of their class because of the break, compared to those who went straight to uni.
It's all up to personal preference though and whether you would rather be in a graduate job...
I'm starting to think Micro Reform may be an essay question this year due to the COAG Reform and the shift from macro to micro policies. The last time it came up was in '06 and that was with macro, so I have a feeling about it.
CAD would be awesome if it came up, enviro mgmt is probable, it...
A sniff? Both Bremen and Shakthar were in the final last year. Villareal are pretty competitive in the UCL, let alone Europa Cup so they are more than just 'sniffs' for me (Bearing in mind i'm not sure about their transfers etc).

In your sig it says you are hoping to get into medicine. On the UNSW page it says you can't get the bonus points for a B Medicine or B Surgery course. Although it may be different at other unis.
Might be something you want to check out.
Unless you really like USYD, that might be a bad move. UNSW are the best for commerce, and the ATAR is lower at UNSW than it is at USYD.
Higher ATAR =/= better course.
I'm pretty sure extension subjects have different bands that range from E1 to E4. Don't quote me on it though. But from that, obviously E4 is the highest, with E1 being the lowest.
I would say the Board of Studies would have some sort of criteria of bands for extension subjects, and they would...
There is no ext 4 maths. There isn't even an ext 3 maths, only ext 1 and 2.
The 'band' relates to the score you received for your HSC mark.
Band 6: 90-99
Band 5: 80-89
Band 4: 70-79..etc etc.
So say you needed the equivalent of a band four, it would be whatever is the equivalent of getting a...
I was thinking of doing a B Commerce with a major in finance and a submajor in business law, but was wondering about a few questions..
1. Does finance generally require a high level of maths? (eg. does it tend to involve higher levels of maths (3/4 unit), or more the application of formulae)
2...
