ouch man...ive made the stupidest errors in some of my exams, which pisses me off cos the rankings are so close it pushes me down heaps :vcross:

if you get a good job as an engineer in australia. i hear there arent many great career prospects for engineers. my friends dads in aviation, hasnt got a job in aus for a year, went back to america to do it
yep, remember the rules for the basicity/acidity of salts
conjugate bases from strong acids (HCl, HNO3, H2SO4) do not react

group I and II metals do not react
in addition to what Da Bomb said, when you get the salt just write a quick equation to see if there could be any...
rank of school affects the scaling of your raw mark, if you go to a school ranked quite low (like 300s) youd have to get first in most of your subjects to avoid being grouped together with the other students
the closer together marks are = higher scaling
fair enough, then you might have to come first in one or two subs
try for the ones which scale high, def eng adv
and rape the external exams and youll prob end up with 85 MINIMUM atar, 90+ is also a possibility
