Don't worry, you'll be alright.
IF you don't end up getting your desired ATAR, there's other ways to get into your course.
However, for now there's nothing that can be done, it's over and done with so concentrate on your other exams :)
And good luck!
For the first question I put B - Fold formed at a convergent boundary.
Stratigraphic sequence question I put - A because it limited the layers, where as people that chose B didn't take into account that it may be a broad range.
For the finch question I put C. C was consistent with...
Good work guys :) Everyone who has posted here seems to have answered it relatively well. Considering it was an unexpected question - I think I went alright.
Talked about Book's and Rachel's struggle to develop their relationship , Eli's struggle to accept their relationship and Book's struggle...
Hey guys, just wondering what people would include in this answer?
It's an 8 mk question and I was gonna talk about -
Low species/fossils in Early Triassic as there was a possible eruption which wiped out many species (Include info on Lahars, Lava flows, climate change from CO2, SO2 and ash...
When you feel like giving up, motivate yourself. So what I do to get motivation is to look at websites for uni's I want to go to..
Don't spend too long on there though haha.
And in the morning (if you end up pulling an all-nighter) do 15-30 mins of exercise if you can spare the time, get the...
Your internal assessment is 50% of your mark, Board exams are the other 50%.
Study hard these last few days and see how your results go, it could be possible.
Imo you can do it if you study hard enough. And as Badberries said, there's always alternative pathways into the course you want.
Good luck!
Hyper is right, you've worked for 12 years to get to this moment.
Don't just give up because it's hard. Soldier on tonight and zerg those mods.
I'm sure you can study till morning and do better than you would if you gave up.
I was going through the forums before and I think someone said that the 5-6 will probably be 60-90? So by that theory band 4 is below 60 (not sure what the lower limit is). But again it's highly dependent on how everyone else performs this year too.. It may be higher or lower.
Good luck though. :)
Well there was not much of a concise path to relate 'connection with a place' to belonging/not belonging in Crucible, so I had to throw in some side-winders to relate it back. But every time I mentioned the belonging/not belonging part of it, I linked it straight back to 'perceptions' of said...
Re: How Great Was That?
I'm with you, and I think the rest of the students that did Crucible will side with you too.
Let's hope the accept our bullshittery.
Hahah.
I was stuck with The Crucible, so... how did I go?
Talked out of my arse to relate belonging to a place to sociocultural belonging.
Hopefully it worked. (:
I'm in the same boat, I got 3 pages done for creative. But I've seen past Band 5 creatives and they were around the same length. So I'd say you can make up for lost quantity with quality. Good luck :)
I have no facts behind my argument, just opinion - I think you'd have to do really well in paper 2 to get an 87+, I'd say 80+ would be more achievable.. good luck, you never know, a common trend seems to be that many people stuffed up paper 1 (at least on these forums)
I still can't gather whether they are scaled or not (conflict within this thread has not been resolved on that issue p.s. lolololconflict) but I'd say that IF they were to be scaled then the texts that had minimal place belonging (such as Crucible) would be positive.
Just my opinion though, no...
Dependant on the intricacy and visual appeal.. though I'd say state ranking for sure.
Romulus would be easier than Crucible though haha. Cultural and Social belonging within a place links more closely than my mainly based social + religious belonging and place ><
