yes we can be eco buddies if u want :) from what i've heard the syllabus doesn't overlap much for eco and business studies but i'm interested in both hence why i'm taking both.
reply to your question: my teacher told us what we were reading and our area of study and stuff and yes teachers...
our teacher dragged us all up to the library to borrow the texts for yr 11! ah well i guess reading it now saves time later on...
don't know my timetable yet
ahah yeah our school has this weird system where you get two 200hr electives and one 100hr because in yr 10 we have this 'independent learning program' where we learn stuff and make projects by ourselves but it was seriously so bludge and a waste of time >:( i wish i could have done commerce...
ahh my school gave us four books to read and my english teacher was like also read more if you can! and me being the extremely slow reader that I am :( i've finished two of the books, trying to finish the rest before school starts!
why aren't u allowed? lol my parents want me to attempt the amus exam but yeah thats them. if i was doing music this year and next year i would definitely take the exam. dont know about u but i feel like if i don't do the piano exam in yr 12, i'll be too ceebs later on with uni and everything...
i think around 8 years now?? i finished 8th grade last year and doing amus right now... not sure if i'll continue though because yr 11 is apparently busy :/ what about u?
i do piano as well! although compared to my other classmates i'm not as good (some ppl have their amus and lmus already). i'm don't suck too badly at musicology but then it's because i was forced to do theory exams  i do find it really boring though and i will never do another theory exam again
favourite subjects: probably maths/commerce/it
future aspirations: not really sure about the degree but definitely go to uni and get a good job related to the field i'm studying in
the majority of people in my grade were pretty laidback last year with a minority putting in lots of effort and getting great marks. haha tests truly don't reflect people's potential especially if they don't bother studying for it! but everyone sort of had the mindset that yr 10 was the last...
lol i'm the total opposite. our school offers two electives for both yrs 9 and 10 and it offers one elective for just yr 9. i took commerce as my yr 9 elective and actually enjoyed it but i couldn't continue in yr 10 because there wasn't enough spaces in the other classes :hammer: now i'm just...
i was actually considering to do japanese continuers but then i don't really like the teacher (and i don't think she really likes me as well :P especially because i was overall really lazy during junior school). still i might think about taking it if i end up hating chemistry next year because...
seriously don't be too worried about year 10, like i personally bludged a little, but if you want to get a head start I suggest you establish good study habits so that it's easier next year. For english make sure you're comfortable with writing essays and know how to write good ones. also read a...
lol i think dell is a computer brand? well, the government made it so that no one can install any programs onto the laptop but there is actually a way around it xD hi five i hate internet explorer too
is anyone still going to use their laptops next year? i typed all my class notes on my laptop last year but i'm changing to books this year... i'm thinking of bringing it for classes which have textbooks on the computer but otherwise have no purpose for it
