I'm sure the lower uni's would definitely accept you regardless if you meet the requirement of band 5 in english. However, I'm not sure with USYD or UNSW whether band 5 was a prerequisite or just assumed knowledge.
They're very different instruments, create different sounds and are both as excellent as each other - plus there's a lot of subjectivity in terms of 'which one is better'.
In terms of difficulty, piano is definitely easier and reading the sheet music is also easy (from my experience) there's a...
Honestly I prefer typing because if your learn new information on the way you can easily insert them between dot-points. The concept of writing is nice, but it takes twice as long.
Personally, I'll say type all your summaries and then just read them and highlight / draw / annotate your notes...
Personally I'll choose UNSW/USYD Commerce.
Although I'm in the same boat as you, I feel like if you get into UNSW/USYD Commerce - then you can transfer to Macquarie if it wasn't your liking.
Is there a reason why you're choosing between the two universities?

In other news, I really want...
I believe if you truly love it, then you should go for it.
It's a good outlet especially during the HSC, and also helps you manage your studies better.
Hey! I honestly recommend to relax or go have a run or somethin since you wouldn't really have as much freedom as you do now in a year. BUT since you wanna start ahead, i'll give you some tips:
Advanced English:
1. Start writing your creative, you have an entire year to prepare for this so...
I think BOS use clerical checking which is making sure the marks were correctly entered the system, rather than checking the papers again and finding any loose marks straying. I remember that this girl got her marks changed because the skipped a page when adding the marks worth 15. So I don't...
I personally liked e1 and e2 a lot so I found the experience very enjoyable, the only downside that it can be very hard to score marks in e2 because you're never sure what the markers might like. I say take it if you're really interested, but other than that economics sound very good for you.
Hey look it's okay. I'll give you some perspective.
My boyfriend was completely shit in physics, and for his trial he got 36%... IN HIS TRIAL! WEIGHING 40%
He end up with a final mark in the 70's for physics, and ended up with a 75 atar. Now I love my boyfriend dearly, but if he can dun goofed...
Well look at it this way, its better to fuck up now than fuck up near the trials. Your marks aren't the greatest, and you can definitely improve next year by working harder in 3U and stuff. Just don't give up now, especially since the weighting of assessments rn won't impact you atar greatly.
Capitalism
And I guess a lot of people would want their results back, and it can cause an uproar for subjective subjects when people compare their answers and stuff.. since BOS doesn't remark.
I really want to get into media (PR & Advertising) which is a 85 atar, and since I know the course is quite a stretch compared to a 10 mark difference, I'm also eligible for 5 bonus points in that course because I reached certain bands as well.
My atar is 75.60
I GOT 75.60 and I'm so happy with that because I legitimately thought i was going to get less than 70 throughout the year. I also have 5 bonus points for the course I want at both UNSW and UTS (Haven't checked with USYD Bonus Scheme if they have one) I"M SO HAPPY! I hope everyone else is happy...
My marks aren't as great or high as yours but I'm so fucking happy with my marks I literally expected the fucking worst:
Advanced English: 80/100
Extension English: 44/50 (I can't believe I got this wtf I'm so shook)
Extension 2 English: 32/50 (Disappointed honestly but atleast it wasn't a...
IM SO NERVOUS!! It's so confronting to see your marks and to already have an idea on how you did. I don't think I did that well so I'm really apprehensive..... and I don't want anyone to ask me either about it.
FUCK NO.
ABSOLUTELY FUCK NO YEAR 10 DOES NOT REFLECT SENIOR YEAR AT ALL.
When you start Year 11, a word of warning that the people you never thought was competition will start getting tutors / trying hard, and soon overtake your ranks. Similarly, the people on the top from year 7-10 wither.
