Is your cohort strong and are you confident in your abilities to compensate for your rank in the hsc? You'll get your answer if you think about the above

This just means you have no safety net of a well performing cohort for you to fall back onto. So preferably be rank 1 in all your subjects or at least top 3 before hsc and spam past papers and you'll get the highest atar available to you (which is >90)
