I saw on page 591 in Cambridge 3unit year 12 textbook for example 25, they used implicit differentiation to solve the question, is this examinable under the new syllabus?

Can you please explain how this following notation make sense?
\int\frac{\cos x\ dx}{\sqrt{\sin x}}=\int\frac{d\left(\sin x\right)}{\sqrt{\sin x}}
Usually we have dx at the end which means with respect to x, but what does with respect to sinx mean?
