    Anaerobic Respiration

    The formula for anaerobic respiration is; C6H12O6 = 2C3H6O3 + 2ATP I am confused about the products... isn't 2C3H6O3 the same as Glucose? Since C3H6O3 is half of glucose, 2x C3H6O3 would be glucose.. right?

    Hello! Just a question, for Prelim HSC Bio. Wikipedia says that Aerobic Respiration produces only 38 ATP however, in Bio in Focus, it states that Aerobic Respiration only produces 36 ATP. So.... which one should I trust?

    Just do the last question - (f) What I wanted to know, was that do I have to prove that root x is rational, and thereby prove a contradiction to find the values of a and b or do I just correspond the pronumerals with their respective values? Cheers, Axwe7

    Irrational Numbers, help needed.

    Why is it that 2 + {\sqrt {3}} is irrational? [Hint: Begin by saying; Suppose 'x = 2 + {\sqrt {3}}', then continue by subtracting 2 from both sides]. The hint was included in the question... BTW, {\sqrt {3}} is irrational, I've already proven that.
