haha my school actually makes up the timetable from scratch every single year. poor vice principal and subject coord xD
unfortunately i didnt get to do economics. the other 2 backup subjects i wanted to do were in the same line as the subject that i really wanted to do. so i was stuck. picked...
2 wks before whatever exam i have coming up:

teacher: everything on the syllabus
2 wks later

i think the idea of morning classes is stupid. if i ever had morning classes id just rock up looking like a zombie and get no work done. esp in winter.. the whole class would probably be freezing their asses off. handwriting is therefore reduced to random scribbles on paper.
afternoon classes...
some yr 12 chick at our school got swine. she just has to stay home for like 2 wks or something. shes ok now. although i wish our whole school got closed down. that would be good. the amount of hw n class work we get when we come back is a going to be as big as mt everest though lol
i reckon!! nerd alert! hahas!
i love my free periods! esp when i have double free in between recess n lunch. thats like almost 3 hours of bludging.
haha and yes, SOR can be dead boring but its pretty interesting at times.
Re: Subject Selection
14 units isnt bad you know... just as long as you keep up with the work. but seeing as you do 2 extensions then its probably a bad idea.
i think choosing french wouldnt be a great idea personally.
you either love or hate physics. if you got a good teacher, you'll like it. if you have a crappy one like me, you'll hate it. and trust me.. there arent many good physics teachers out there for some very weird reason.
bio requires a lot of memorising. the pracs that you do can be heaps of fun...
4 hrs later.... laptop runs out of battery if you dont charge it LOL
hmm.. maybe fedex or something has cheap printing? or try those little printing/photocopying shops. they might do it for cheaper.
i think if i'd have to go to uni first and go back to high school to ever get into ruse.
i wanted to get into syd girls, but chickened out. those seriously smart kids there are INTIMIDATING. I think I'd rather ace everything at my current school than get low-average at syd girls.
do u really think u need to drop to standard? i would say try to stay in advanced but depending on your other subjects and if you could handle advanced or not with the amount of time required to complete the work.
nah i know a few schools who do 2u and 3u as seperate subjects like my school.
i think some teachers just tell students to try it out anyway even if they're not completely capable of handling it.
e.g. last year when recommendations came out for year 11, everyone who got 80%+ average got...
i wanna do 4u maths as well. im currently doing 3u.
my marks are avg 85% atm. but i know i'm going to improve as i do pretty crap at the beginning n keep improving throughout the year.
i have 3 sciences as well and i dont really want to drop any.
i mean.. if you ask your maths teacher what...
oh.. if you're doing economics, dont do business. one or the other. economics is waaaaaaay more interesting and scales better. almost as good as sciences i think.
lol my friends just did a legal studies exam today. its all essays. they write just as much in legal as in english adv. be prepared to memorise A LOT. you need a sponge brain to absorb everything.
ask your friends in higher years. look through their work. see what they do, what they like and...
there shouldnt be a minimum age. people should be able to drop out at the end of yr 10.
people who dont want to be at school would most likely disrupt the rest of the class n disadvantage others. why should we, who actually want to do well suffer cuz they dont care?
