be careful about missing out work thats gonna be in the test if you do though
2 weeks before trials you shouldve covered everything but i duno, all schools are diff. find out first
then yeah go from there
id advise not to tho, hsc comes once, concerts come all the time (just wait like another...
dw i screwed up my first ext maths assess
59% ftw!
theres still plenty of time to make up for it in terms of ranks, then you can just kill the hsc :)

i do about 1100 in 40 mins

i hate the kilometricos or whatever theyre called though, run out really fast.
ideas to those who want to write faster: always right with heavy pens like parkers (i use one, got it for...
well said.
im against getting a national curriculum as well, however if you look at the positive side theres way more idiots for us to compete against so itd be easier to get a higher ATAR :P
+1
i hated maths till about half way through yr11, now im actually kinda liking it
more practice = the easier it gets
just keep it and work hard! put aside like 30 mins a night on it and itll become easier in a month or so
i did not think of that.
ill be sure to give this a try in term 3 (have half yearlies atm ><)
lol i miss working out...too much study...but if this works well for me ill be the happiest mofo ever LOL
and lol@eddykungfu
gotta try that out for chem phys and bio too lol.
dont go into too much detail about explaining your texts well
make sure you have a VERY strong thesis in which you use your texts selectively to support these ideas, im talking 3-4 quotes max per text
also dont babble about the story or journey too much, say he goes from x to y concisely and...
lol wow geography...drop it and pick up chemistry :D
but yeah id probably say macq revision guides
and dw about prelim too much, just use the one youve got and buy a HSC guide and start early if its too boring
Re: What ATAR are you aiming for and realistically, what do you think you will get?
lol trolls
im aiming for 99+, its very realistic as long as i start scoring 90+ in maths, ill be happy with 98+ i guess but i really want a 99 ATAR :)
id probably suggest the level of detail in the info, couple this with reliability (because youre comparing resources, its not really an experiement so you dont have a control or variables)
