Why do independant papers say that!! It drives me insane!!
And for Bio and Chem I'd say that independant is the hardest (but they usually have a fair few wrong answers too for some reason??).
Wow, congrats on the great ranks.
And I agree with above, 99.5+
I am in a similar position as you are with extension maths, but I would definitely say keep EE, there's no point in coming this far and dropping it now.
If you weren't nervous at all, then I would be a little concerned.
However if it is to the point of not eating and sleeping maybe you should get some help?
Stress is going to be much, much worse in a months time.
That's true but only for Maths. (They can ask up to 30% of prelim)
The other subjects draw on knowledge from Prelim but they CAN NOT ask you a question directly from Prelim.
Smoking is the major risk factor of cardiovascular disease (the number 1 killer of Australians) and cancer (2nd highest killer of Australians).
A smoker our age may not be an idiot, they just don't value their life or the lives of those around them.
I think you need to be aware that smoking costs the government much, much more in health care costs (hospital visits, screening tests) in comparison to the revenue they make.
You exeplify perfectly the stereotype that all young smokers are stupid.
For chem and bio I really recommend the new excel guides, they follow the syllabus, making them useful for notes. Conquering chem is also really good and so is heinemann bio.
For PDHPE I use Outcomes and the macquarie guide and they have been great all year, giving you all the info you need.
