Just a quick question about english.
Im doing 3 unit and i realise they count your best 2 english units. If im doing 11 units, does that mean the extra unit of english wont really back me up?
how does this thing work??
damn hsc is so confusing:vcross:
im really unsure about whether this has been covered previously.
ill give you a situation of mine.
my business studies class has done 50% worth of assessments so far, with trials in 2 weeks. in the second i bombed out and got about 65%, with the top mark as 90%, the second being 70% ...
couldnt agree more. instead of allowing people that have little to no command over the english language from studying points and getting away with their pitiful grammar and spelling. and fundamental english should be looked at in more things.
i dont know the exact marks im getting but they work out to roughly equal:
73 in maths, 90 in legal studies, 80 in business (had a bad assessment but 2 to come so expecting that to pull up a bit more), 85 in geography, 80 in adv eng and 85 in ext I english.
my school came between 230th...
sorry for adding them... iv just seen a few ppl that have posted and ppl have replied saying they dont know much about their personal capability... it was just to try to give people an idea about that... :(
where you applying to Bcomm/law?
id say yes but only through the quality of education- not as something they look at and factor in. obviously if you get through james ruse youll come out with a better education than if you went to a random school
i hate to break it to you but youd really have to get much better results than that to be landing a 93. its not that easy to get... when you say is it still possible if you drop ranks... i think you need to planning to move up ranks instead of figuring out whether you can drop.
if u use that...
Im sure there are probably hundreds of these posted daily so im apologising in advance.
Im hoping to get a UAI of at least 80.
Heres some info about me:
I got first round offers at two selective schools but didnt go. (manly & normanhurst boys)
My school isnt in the top 200 (or maybe just)...
