Hey, our teacher has told us that there are two methods of addressing the question on texts and ways of thinking:
We can either:
A) Talk about a range of concepts: eg. Sexual / women's liberalism, fear paranoia, with one text and one related material for each concept.
B) Talk about...
I'm considering moving closer to Macquarie and am considering the Macquarie Parklands. http://www.accommodation.mq.edu.au/university-accommodation/parklands
Anyone have experience with the place?
Hey, we weren't able to finish the Ancient syllabus at school, so I'm attempting to complete the course at home. However, I'm struggling to find the society the least bit interesting. I am currently studying daily life of the Minoans, and am finding myself making notes on the sports/recreation...
Hey, my teacher continually told our class to not create a pre-set response to the belonging question, because our response may not suit the question. Rather, he suggests we study all of the poems (we are doing skryznecki's poems btw) so that we have a range of options.
But would I be safe...
Hey, Im going to be in the North Ryde area in a few weeks and I'm interested in checking out the Macquarie museum of Ancient Cultures. But I am wondering if I just walk in? Is it free? Will anyone stop me?
Thanks.
Hey, I know we have roughly 45 minutes to spend on each section of the exam, I'm guessing this is closed to halved for A & B of the personality study? So we have roughly 23 minutes for each question. I write round 5 - 8 pages for the period and the society question, how many pages am I expected...
Hey, I spoke to my teacher about this problem and he printed me out a copy of the HTA ancient history study notes - So I think I solved the problem. Thanks for the help though, I'll keep 'ninetypercent' in mind though.
Thanks.
Hey, For the last few practice exams I have sat at school (half yearly, yearly and trial) I have gotten extremely lucky and have been asked on the more popular sections of the syllabus: Religion, Forum, houses, etc. However a quick look at past papers has revealed that often the questions are on...
Just did the calculations and that's a much better deal. Although a lot shorter timespan. I might look into it.
Do you have a link to this cap? I'd like to check it out.
Thanks.
I'm trying to figure out if there is any better carrier than who I am currently with. I am using Virgin's bean counter prepaid plan, which offers $25 for $25, giving me $0.10c sms and $0.10c calls (minus the $0.25c connection fee).
Does any other provider offer cheaper/more sms or calls?
Thanks. I think it's a pretty awesome selection too!
I've had a quick look at UNE's B.Historical inquiry, it looks like a combination of History Ext and the Modern and Ancient courses. So it would be pretty fun.
Most of my options are mainly for show, if I dont get into my 1st preference, I'd opt for my 4th preference (I put it further down because the ATAR is in the low 70's).
I didnt choose 9, If I dont get into a B.A At Macq or ANU, then I don't deserve to go to university.
Mine was on the analysing the truth in the various representations of Cambyses (Herodotus, Darius, Wedjahor-Resne) (Yes, we studies Persia as our ancient period, but you dont really cover Cambyses in much detail at all). We get our marks back tomorrow. But I'm pretty happy with it.
Hey, Just wanting to try and put myself into perspective without starting one of those: 'Estimate my ATAR' threads.
Is there such thing as a Median/Mean average ATAR, What most students are getting around. Obviously, if such an average exists, it should not affect me. I'm just interested...
Hey, I was just reading up on the whole palace economy thing, and it sounds like the palaces controlled both the modes of production (as evident in the bureaucratic distribution of livestock to farmers) as well as the product itself (as evident in the palace storages). Obviously the term...
