I agree but I’m not sure if I “cooked” my arguments to an E4 level. I’m hoping I did for both. Did 10 pages for Q1 and 8 for Q2 but, couldn’t finish my last sentence for the former ;(
It honestly depends what the question calls for. If it is around methodology, I would do the former (historians etc.) but as well as private and public history and of course, uses and abuses (real life e.g.)

Completely agree with you. I love how they got rid of the UN and League of Nations section because to be frank, a little weird (though hate the new name because in my opinion, power and authority is sexier than democracy and dictatorships).

Yeah to be honest, those options are hella weird. Whitlam and Menzies are pretty well, meh. I think Catherine the Great is a better option. Have u checked out the new modern syllabus. If so, would love to hear your thoughts :-)
Highly underrated topic for History Extension in my view because there are a multitude of personalities and geopolitical factors that needed to be considered.
