Could someone please explain the timetabling tool. :o
I tried to figure out a rough timetable and I was totally confused by it. The melbourne uni system generates a timetable with all your required classes then by clicking on a class you can see what other time options you have. The ANU tool...
Can't say I've used it but Vodafone now have a 5GB per month plan for $39 which is the cheapest price I've been able to find. Only downer is that its only available on a 24 month contract.
The laptop will receive the internet signal and then if you follow the instructions in the link in my previous it will create a wireless signal which the Wii should be able to connect to.
The router's not going to work in this situation because of the type of modem. Your best bet is to set up a wireless network using your pc's wireless card.
Try the instructions for setting it up here:

I think the only way you're going to get it to work is if your computer supports internet sharing over wifi. I doubt the Wii will be able to connect using the modem.
If you have a Mac, it's easy to turn on internet sharing...go into system prefs > sharing > then make sure internet sharing is...
There's a summary of how much data costs at each residence here. Most places are 2 cents per MB, Johns is 2.5 and a few are 7 cents. Unilodge says TBA...I'm hoping its 2!
I'll be there! :)
Have no idea where but I do know I'm in a 3-bedroom apartment with an external view. I don't know who I'm staying with either. It was my last preference for accommodation but it'll have to do for now. I've heard UniLodge can be a bit anti-social but I'm hoping it'll be ok.
I'll be able to tell you soon enough...I caved and just excepted the offer for a place at UniLodge. Not sure how I'm going to afford it, but I'm sure I'll work something out.
Yeah, that's what I hear. I mean somewhere within walking distance would be ideal, but this place is at least a proper house with lots of room and I wouldn't be locked into a 52 week contract like with UniLodge. Just means I'll have to drive it or maybe get the bus.
So I'm looking for places off campus as I don't think I'm going to accept UniLodge. A friend of a friend is getting a house in Chifley and is looking for roommates and it would work out to about $200 a week (thats including utilities and internet). Is Chifley to far out? According to google maps...
:( :( :( :(
Just got my email. UniLodge - 3 bedroom multishare - my last preference. I don't think I'll be able to afford it at $230 a week! I'm going to ring and BEG for something else.
In no particular order...
Will & Grace
Buffy
Six Feet Under
Firefly (so sad they axed this without giving it a proper run)
Boston Legal
Ugly Betty
We Can Be Heroes
Kath and Kim (Seasons 1 & 2 only though)
Brothers and Sisters
Same here, even though my 1st pref was B&G. Its showing UniLodge at the top for me at the moment which I really would prefer not to get into - it starts to get really expensive once you add everything up.
I just want to know!!!! :(
Wow, so this must be one of the 'other' accommodation alternatives they're offering. If you don't mind me asking, how much did they say the rent would be and is it catered or un-catered?
