    Still unsure of what degree

Quick q, are u (op) aiming for post grad med? If so, I would choose the B/science degree and aim for post-grad med at USYD. That's just my personal opinion and I'm a bit swayed by uni prestige. Ultimately its up to u.

    Still unsure of what degree

Yes u can be enrolled in 2 degrees. U can even do 2 degrees at the same time i.e one at unsw and another at usyd. Js make sure u decide and unenroll by the census date of each uni otherwise you'll be paying for the course and HECS will start counting (if u apply for hecs).

Textbook or all Past Paper questions?

Textbook questions first, then hit the past papers. Babysteps. Theres no point doing past papers if u barely know the content. Js don't hang around textbook questions for too long since past papers are more important/effective study, but they are good starters/warmups. If u need more textbooks...

how much study do you intend to do over the summer

rather than js sitting for hours upon end, yall should try anki (or any other flashcards app) - active recall + past papers is key to success. That way, you only need to spend maybe 3hrs a day, everyday. Doing e.g. 3hrs everyday is much more effective than doing like 6hrs one day and taking a...

Extracurriculars for MCQ Uni Early Entry?

I got multiple offers from maq and heres what I did. - School service e.g. open day etc - Vinnies (Vinnies van, volunteer retail work at my local store) - Duke of Ed (Ik u said u dont do duke of ed, but seeing as your hsc is in 2026, you might have enough time to get a silver award. Trust me...

    Still unsure of what degree

Thats a pre good plan. B/Science is broad but u can explore many things. U can always choose to do a master in something for post grad. Js keep in mind that in terms of jobs, a B/Science degree alone can't get u much, so youll have to go for honours or a phd should u choose to do B/Science alone.

    Scared i wont be first

To add, you cant 'fail' in the HSC exam - you can't get a mark below 50 or something as NESA will then realign it based on the bell curve. e.g. if you get dead last, you'll be at the lower end of that bell curve. (This is to op) U should fr stop stressing abt scaling. Js focus on using the...

    Scared i wont be first

ye bro u pre much summed it up nicely. There is some limit to how your individual mark varies/gets influenced by peers but ultimately, u get what u work for. NESA does some weird black magic stuff with the marks so I doubt anyone 100% understands it lmao.

Yes u can choose to do them whenever. I plan on doing my OLE's next semester (s2) but ik people doing it in their second year.

    Scared i wont be first

First of all, dw abt scaling. In fact, forget abt it. All u need to focus on is getting good marks. Scaling and ranks n allat stuff dont weigh as much as the marks themselves. Take it from a person who was ranked near the 50th percentile in the cohort for Studies of Religion 1 (a notably poor...

    Still unsure of what degree

Apparently pharma is a boring career. I got offered it at unsw. Med sci and science are very similar in job prospects- theyre both very limited. Paramed is prolly the only one you've written that has a guaranteed/reliable job, but I dont think parameds get paid enough for the amount of work they...

Most of my notes and essays are handwritten/in books or buried in my google drive. Have a look at this public one: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1PjjbRmvG6GG_TDyqMg1eAXd1rQnj18ID
