should I continue or drop english adv? (yr 11)

i think with getting better at handwriting speed you need to expose yourself to more realistic exam conditions so you can get yourself over that 'blanking' that happens during exams. do timed exams in places you arent as familar with, such as libraries, during frees maybe a spare classroom, at...

you basically do lessons on the theory of science and science practise while writing up a scientific report. i ended up dropping bcuz i couldnt be bothered to wake up at 8 for lessons. its more of a subject you do out of passion and if you want to go into the science field then one thats there...

I’M SO STRESSED, IDK WHAT TO DO.

in the moment doing poorly in prelims feels like youve failed the hsc. but trust me, in a few months you wont care at all. prelims do not matter at all unless youre doing early entry. the vast majority of people do worse in prelims than their trials or hsc. keep in mind youre new to the hsc...

    Failing a preliminary course?

'spoonfed fed the resources' is referring to resources, as in learning material. not getting spoonfed a good atar or whatever. "having access to resources readily helps out, but the thing is if you dont utilize those resources then youre still going to flunk. in private it still does come down...

If you were to fail term 1 of yr 12, could you redeem yourself and still get a 95 atar?

depends on your schools rank. also going from doing really really poorly for the first term then doing a 180 and suddenly becoming really really motivated and topping your subjects and getting a 95 is uncommon id say, possible but i wouldnt bet on it as a strategy. i noticed a lot of people in...

    Failing a preliminary course?

my friends in private have much better access to resources such as papers, textbooks, etc and the school just gives it to them. having access to resources readily helps out, but the thing is if you dont utilize those resources then youre still going to flunk. in private it still does come down...

    Failing a preliminary course?

people complain a lot but sometimes it just comes down to what you put in. going to private makes school a lot easier, youre spoon fed the resources you need and youre going to have teachers. but you still can do well as long as you put in effort even if youre at a shit school
