Is a 85+ atar still possible?

I'm not entirely sure, but I thought that the policy for plagiarism was that any individual involved was penalised? greginglis allowed the other person to copy, hence he had an unbound involvement in the plagiarism process. Maybe it's just my school that does it, idk.

A projectile fired at a speed of u and an angle of x to the horizontal

The new initial velocity should be 'root 2 times u'. Tell me if there's something wrong with it or you don't understand a part of it: https://imgur.com/PuPIDE5

Is a 85+ atar still possible?

It's very much possible. You need to either do very well in the remaining assessments and exam for that subject (to 'redeem' yourself) OR do 'ok' in the remaining assessments and exam for that subject whilst keeping your other subjects at a good level. Just follow the HSC rules (for plagiarism...

    binomial methods

General term for (x+a)^n : T_k= nCk X x^(n-k) X a^k To find independent term: let n-k=0. If x is to the power of 0, then the whole term is independent of x (i.e. a constant) Greatest Term: if T_(k+1) >= T_k, then k+1 yields the greatest term Greatest Co-efficient: if t_(k+1) >= t_k, then k+1...

    2u vs 3u

Depends how mathematically able you are and the course you wish to do at uni. Numerous courses have 2u as the bare minimum for assumed knowledge whilst many others have 3u (e.g. most if not all engineering streams). Imo, you should do it... it doesnt hurt having an extra unit. These are just...

When are you deciding on which University?

yeh some schools offer a special program for really really gifted students e.g. in maths. They get to essentially 'accelerate' and finish their maths hsc's earlier than normal. I say some schools but i've only seen it at my school; i assume it applies to numerous others lol

Life of Pi Related text. NEED HELP ASAP

I did Madame Tutli Putli. You might wanna check that out. It's got survival and kind of has spirituality (the moth that appears in the short film is sort of an angelic presence). Not sure about truth. I did it for Discovery in Advanced English so i had to adopt it differently. Just watch it in...

Can I get an atar over 90 with this?

I'd say 90 is pushing it. I reckon those ranks would correlate to around an 83-84. To achieve your 90 goal, I think you should really pick up on Bio and English (top 10 would be awesome), get into top 5 for PDHPE & Modern and try 1st for Ancient [this may seem pretty daunting, but you have...

    Studying with/without music?

My use of music whilst studying depended on what I was studying. For higher conceptual thinking subjects (e.g. Physics), music would be a no-no. For lower conceptual thinking subjects (e.g. English and Maths), music would be an option but preferably ignored (music may lead to procrastination)...
