What chinese place near morvne brown? I ate at tropical green yesterday. Stuff was like $8+. Seems to be vietnamese food...i tried the wonton noodles. Decent, but not too filling, and they used pho noodles instead of the correct noodles. You may want to check your change when you are...

    Econ1101 worried

Nobody is talking about spending 1 hours in there...but the ability to pop in and get an answer face to face is still pretty valuable.

    Econ1101 worried

Strange...when i was at the university of auckland, there were several hours worth of consultation times per week for each subject and a lot more right before tests/exams/project deadlines. The demand for the consultation times were enormous...there were usually long queues outside the rooms.

Should I go to the FINS1613 lecture?

Im surprised nobody has mentioned that FINS 1613 lectures are recorded. I find it much more effective to listen to the lecture recordings....too bad MGMT 1001 doesnt have any. MGMT 1001 seems to be mostly reading off lecture slides too...anyone else notice that? And im not even sure what im...

    Econ1101 worried

Apparently none of my courses have more than 1 hour of consultation time with a tutor o.O. Is this the norm for UNSW?

    Econ1101 worried

I seriously dont see any mention of consultation hours in any of my course outlines. CTRL+F "consultation" finds nothing relevant either.

    Econ1101 worried

How do you find the course consultation hours? None of my course outlines mention consultation hours at all....including micro.

Need to find home stay or a single/shared room

That homestay thing sounds like a good deal...if you don't want it, PM me :P. Ive never been able to find homestay places...all the ads seem to be for regular room rents.

Does anyone else regret buying second hand textbooks?

I didnt get the current edition because they werent available second hand...if you look on this forum for example, almost all the textbooks being sold are last edition ones. A lot of the textbook content is similar, but tutorial questions and case studies tend to be quite different. Are there...

Need to find home stay or a single/shared room

Im in a similar boat. So far the problems i am finding are : -Ad claims all bills included...when you go to inspect, you are told that NOT all bills are included...or there is some kind of cap and you have to pay more if the bill goes above that. -Room is unfurnished, or only partially...

Does anyone else regret buying second hand textbooks?

I bought 3 so far, and have been finding them quite useless...the tutorial questions/case studies are all different (which is the main reason to buy the books in the first place).

Finding a new place to stay...

He hasn't specified that he will keep the bond...he claims he will give it back to me when i move out on saturday. Whether that will happen remains to be seen. The lawyer said that if the landlord withholds my bond, i will have to get it back by applying to the tribunal. Can you PM me more...

Finding a new place to stay...

I talked to a lawyer actually. She told me that tenants can simply decide not to share the fridge or other appliances with you...unless sharing of the fridge is specifically mentioned in the agreement, you can't go to court. And almost nobody is going to specifically list the fridge in the...

Finding a new place to stay...

I do have a signed agreement. However, they seem to have no fear of breaking the law. I tried to explain the legal requirements, they just sneered at me and told me to bring my lawyer to the apartment. I went to ARC and sought legal advice, but i was basically told there's nothing i can do...
