    Weekend Progress

Determination all the way! :D Too bad sometimes it's not physically possible. It would be a lot more possible if I weren't procrastinating, but uh.. heh. I finished my Bio notes, btw. *beams all proudly* :D kyttie.

    COMPUTAS.......Waste of Time?

Heh, I agree on computing test being a bit too easy, especially since we had -so- much spare time. I didn't know there weren't any bands for it, or I wouldn't've bothered to study. I ended up with 99. And it doesn't even count towards anything. :mad1: Kaitlyn.

    Weekend Progress

Okay. Hopefully, posting in this thread will give me some sort of motivation to actually do the things I need to get done. 1. Type up a Dot-Point summary for Biology. 2. Finish off 14 pages of Biology homework. 3. Write up a practical for Biology. 4. Research/finish off Chemistry practical. 5...

subjects u wish u didnt choose

Pretty happy with all my subjects right now. :) Mind you, chem's a bit of a struggle because the teacher's all but useless. So - independent learning all the way, they say - which results in me spending the most homework time on chemistry, just researching things myself. :mad1: Loving...

    What's wrong?

Odd. Only thing I can think of is.. has that person tried to pop out their keys recently? I pop out my keys regularly to clean and dust out underneath them, and once I obviously damaged the actual keypad, so that when I pressed the key it wouldn't register at all. Especially notebooks and...

    Passwords for Internet

It used to work for a while, until of course - much like all the students found out about it, all the teachers and IT admins etc found about it too. Now, with our new DET Portal filter system for school, it's blocked as an "Anonymizer". So are other proxy workarounds. I've been messing around...

    Website

Thanks for the replies guys, they were awesome for inspiration. After asking around some more and probing the net for ideas, we're going to end up doing a site about the Seven Wonders of the World. That way - though it's just materialistic travelling (something I thought would be boring)...

    How was your school day?

    Woah. That's.. amazingly.. mind-blowing! Touchwood x 5. You ain't missing out. ;) Kaitlyn.

How much study do you do?

I study for about 5 hours a day. Mind you, I have five minute breaks every hour, and I make time to do normally bodily things like showering and eating. :p I also always end up with extra time to mess around the place, usually experimenting with tweaking my registry. Kaitlyn.

    How was your school day?

Heh nah, didn't drop by the stall but I remember seeing the sign, that's what rung the bell. ;) Most of the time we were just messing around on the beach, and building sand sculptures of various toilets. Can't wait till Yr12, when I won't be walking. Phew. I don't remember a race, I came to...

    How was your school day?

One school term. I was in Grade 3, so it wasn't too bad. I remember I was just standing innocently in the playground, before some sixth-grader ran past and knocked me over. That's when I broke it. I was sent to the sick bay, and the woman said I was fine and it's just a scratch here.. and...

    How was your school day?

Heh yeah. I've had tons of injuries, but never a fracture. Closest thing was breaking my collar bone, which sucked because you can't set the bone. You have to wait for it to naturally heal. And no cast, either. Kaitlyn.

    How was your school day?

I didn't. Standing on a beach isn't a sport - or at least I didn't ever see it that way. And that's one of the ways I dislocated my knees. Another 'sport', I guess, would be kicking a soccer ball once. = Dislocation. And stumbling into a ditch while crossing the road, also ='d dislocation...

    How was your school day?

I'm a surfer, also used to be a netballer, so my knees are put under more stress than the average person. Add to that a certain amount of luck, and having flat feet . . . and you dislocate your knee. Basically, the patella (kneecap) just pops out. For some people it pops out inwards (i.e...

    How was your school day?

Oh 'kay, well that's good. That it ain't medical, 'leastways. Don't fret. I was unfit for about three years - but that was because of dislocating my knees an incredible amount of times, discussing the procedures for knee reconstructive surgery, then chickening out, then.. etc. Heh. Kaitlyn...

    How was your school day?

Oh and also, out of curiosity - what's up with your cardiovascular system? Just not too fit in that area, or something medical? Kaitlyn.

    How was your school day?

You'll never catch me running 10km that we had to walk today! And, the gum tree symbolises "the place". i.e. place where you can collapse to the floor, throw off your shoes, try to stem the flow of blood from your little toe, gulp massive amounts of energy drink and pant like a dog. Lol...

    How was your school day?

Lol, running? More like scuffling the sandy pavement, with our chem teacher bringing up the rear and threatening to have the police-on-pushbikes jam us in the ribs with their batons if we don't hurry up. Heh. It took forever though, but the awesome bit is that, after you've passed the point...

I won't be walking next year either, thank god. Kaitlyn.
