HSC textbooks help! which to choose

Most of the study guides for english are fairly bogus as they really don't go into enough detail and don't tend to tell you anything that would ever be examined. (I can only speak for Excel here though) Talk to your teacher for more info on what they feel the best textbook would be to complement...

    General Thoughts - Mathematics

Realise that that exam was quite different to past ones though. There was virtually no integral calculus in there which obviously you haven't learned yet. The flood of geometry was why you could do it so easily.

Tips for 2008 HSC Class/Things You Wish You Knew Before Starting Your HSC

QFT!!!!!! It is so so important to UNDERSTAND....in the HSC it is not enough just to regurgitate information and frankly, you will make those notes in class, not read them until just before your trials and they will be useless. If you feel like you MUST have notes on what the teacher says...

    2008 HSC timetable

No they're different every year. The organise them so that the courses with heaps of people in them don't fall at the same time. It's why they don't release the timetables until midway through the year. So they know how many people are in each course. You can guarantee English will be first...

    Class of 2007: Roll Call

I'm so cranky we're doing Med Physics....its boring as...although there is heaps of cross-over to chem so there really isn't that much to learn actually. The only hard stuff is in MRI and it's hardly ever tested (net spin etc) Would rather have done Q2Q but the class outvoted the three of us...

    UAI REALITY ChEcK!!!!

qft I hate it when people bitch about having low scaling subjects and shit....if it's low scaling it means it's easier and you should be able to go better in it to compensate for the lack of scalingl.

Why do people find this topic so hard?

It's jsut boring....and half the reason people find it hard is coz they're shit at communicating and hence can't write on paper what they, conceptually anyway, understand. This topic is all about how well you can express your understanding using the correct scientific lingo and convering all...

Help!! Movie Needed For Physical Journeys

Brat Camp is a TV show. but its good Motorcycle Diaries is good Don't do any pixar/disney movies as you'll never be able to analyse them in enough depth (personally i wouldn't do Hitchikers either)

AH! Is approx. 9 days enough!?

Depends how smart you are...if you've paid attention in class all year don't bother doing any....if a cabbage has a higher IQ, start now I got 6's and didn't do any The School Certificate is truly the easiest exam you will ever it...written for the lowest common denominator
