Group study / help general maths hsc

Hey guys, I'm assuming most of you in Year 11 have now started your HSC work for General Maths? We have at our school and I have decided that this year I will regularly study and revise AS WE GO rather than trying to learn and revise everything in the lead up to exams. This way, I can...

    Year 11 Tips

This is just so, so true. You have to ANSWER the question. Very relevant in legal and business. you cant just see a key word and write about what you know. Get to know the verbs on board of studies e.g explain, analyze, describe etc because they tell you what you need to do. Know your texts...

    Year 11 Tips

Here's what I wish I knew in year 11 and will definitely be doing next term for HSC. In terms of organisation, :: get a large binder for each subject (different colour for each subject) which you leave at home :: get either one large binder or a small binder for each subject which is...

Year 11 2013 Chit Chat Thread

Just going to be random, but is anyone else strangely looking forward to HSC (next term for nsw ppl)? I think the reason I am is because I really regret the amount of effort I put in this year even though I got ok marks. I really wanna be motivated, work hard and get great marks for HSC. I guess...

So glad you're having a great time! Good to hear that things actually get better at uni! Thinking forward/positively is what keeps me going, I'd be lost without it.

Year 11 2013 Chit Chat Thread

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that. You'll get through it though. If you really can't make friends with the people, think of it positively, you'll have heaps of time to focus on your studies, get a good atar and go to uni where you will meet tons of people just like you! Best of luck! Don't even get...

How did everyones first week go???

Thank you! All sorted now! Excuse my stupid questions! I'm new! Is it just me or does the layout of this website remind you of like 2002 or something? Also, is there any way to know when people have replied to you on a thread or do you just have to go back and check?

How did everyones first week go???

I have used one note for all my work for the past two years and quite frankly think it's silly to go backwards using books again. I think being able to search, edit and back up my work is a massive advantage and although I'd probably use paper to study and revise, having all my coursework neatly...

How did everyones first week go???

Just thought I'd say hello. I start year 11 this Thursday and am sort of excited. I'm happy with my subjects but am just praying I get good teachers. I personally hardly got any homework in years 7-10 but I hear you get a a fair bit in year 11 so it'll get interesting to see if that's true...
