For eco you really don't have to be good at maths. There isn't much of it involved, and when there is its really simple stuff that you should be able to do anyway. Ancient definitely tops business studies. In my opinion.

Well it doesn't seem as though it's likely or possible that a school can say a specific class is at the top of the state when there haven't been any direct methods of comparison. Unless they use the SC or something. Which is irrelevant anyway.

Advanced seems overall more advantageous. But peope who have done standard (graduates) say to do standard, while people who did advanced say do advanced. So it's probably just up to you to choose what you think is best.

These people seem to also rank in say the top 10 in their school. I'm lucky to be ranked within the top 20. I am pretty happy with the cramming method I use now though, but I forget everything the moment I finish an exam, and that probably won't be very beneficial for the HSC. But yeah I...

Okay well frankly when I read all the posts here I get kind of scared. It seems as though everybody is incredibly focused on their studies and know exactly what they have to do to achieve a great mark. And here I am already struggling with getting the required assessments and studying for tests...

Today was pretty stressful. Actually, the day itself was pretty boring. 4 periods of maths! But what was going through my mind was annoying.

I'd say you should wait until the end of the year and if you still don't hate any particular subject or have any preferences, then drop the subject that you've done worst in overall. Or else you should just keep them all and see how it goes if it's not all too stressful and keeping one extra...

I got two assessments back today. I'm happy with my Ancient History result, not so much with English. But hoping to improve. School was better than I expected it to be :) But the homework. Gah!

NO! No James An! I went there for most of last year, and it really sucked. It may have just been the specific centre I went to, but the teachers did not teach and the material (especially for english) was completely irrelevant. It might have changed though. I go to another coaching college now...
