    Handwriting

In this context it IS a disability. I, and most others who legitimately apply for special provisions due to handwriting, cannot get through an exam writing with my hand. After about ten to fifteen minutes the pain caused to my hand becomes physically unbearable, I'm not talking the average pain...

I think UAC screwed up my equity scholarship application

I've tried and failed to get through for several hours, if I can't get through tomorrow morning I'm going to visit the homebush office, though at this stage I don't have much hope

I think UAC screwed up my equity scholarship application

I checked and it says no mid year applications, and the scholarship is 4200 a year, so I would lose 2100

I think UAC screwed up my equity scholarship application

I don't, you see, sometimes people in society discuss things that irk them without expecting others to resolve their concerns, it's just something that happens. Social interaction, try it some time.

I think UAC screwed up my equity scholarship application

... don't troll if you have no idea what you're talking about, equity scholarships are submitted to UAC who then pass them on to the relevant university, except UAC passed mine on to UTS, not Sydney as they were supposed to.

I think UAC screwed up my equity scholarship application

In 2007 I got an equity scholarship at UTS, this year I left UTS for USYD and had to re apply for my scholarship, which I did. However, today I got mail from UTS saying that I did not need to re apply for my scholarship at UTS each year, and no mail at all from USYD. I've since been emailing...

I am very, very confused (Socio Legal Studies subject selection)

Is it at all possible that these subjects don't have the sociology and philosophy requirements when you are doing Socio Legal (as everything I have heard about this degree yet has led me to believe it is a study of law interreacting with society rather than Postmodernist claptrap). Edit- Also...

I am very, very confused (Socio Legal Studies subject selection)

Hi I have been accepted into Socio-Legal Studies, and having come from first year Social Inquiry at UTS, I wasn't really prepared for how complicated first year arts selection would be. My aim has always been to choose history as my second major, and I really wanted to do a mixture of both...

    Handwriting

But it is awful how people take advantage of these considerations, after a huge rigmarole I became the first student to use a laptop in my school for the HSC, and as soon as I did, other kids who I knew for a fact didn't need any special consideration were given it (one girl got extra time on...

    Handwriting

The thing is, a lot of people like myself who have handwriting difficulties, are also pretty slow typers (as this problem is frequently a result of co-ordination difficulties), in fact at my peak speed, I can write faster than type

    Food expenses

The two main reasons is that people go beyond your plan is that that style of living is pretty unhealthy and also some (like myself) are wanky gourmet types who need more variety and flavour.

    Food expenses

It really depends on what kind of person you are and how into good food you are. My cousin eats just the basics and gets by on around $40-50 a week, while I go for more expensive things and spend $55-65 on basic groceries, plus extra for whenever I want to make proper dinners or eat out (which...

    Historical Fiction.

The two main ones I'd recommend are Patrick O'Brian- Aubrey-Maturin Series, amazing books, head and shoulders above every other author of his ilk, he has the detailed knowledge of age of sail history and naval life of C.S Forester, only with far better characters and writing that goes beyond...

Does anyone know when the Commonwealth Equity Scholarship acceptance is?

I'm transferring to USYD and I would like to know if it went with me. I've been unable to get onto the UAC page, despite loading it many times today, at 4am this morning and for a portion of last night. : / I want to know if I can spend my savings on dive gear or not
